Adding Popup Store policies

You can add or generate the following policies for your Popup Store:

  • Refund policy
  • Shipping policy
  • Privacy policy
  • Terms of service

Policy templates can only be generated in English. To use the templates in other languages you can translate them to your desired language.

Setup policies 

Create policies for your Popup Store to build customer trust and ensure legal compliance. Each store has a dedicated policies section, which automatically links to the checkout page footer. While Popup provides templates, remember to review and follow your published policies carefully.


  1. From your Popup admin, select a Popup Store.
  2. Click Preferences > Policies
  3. Enter your policies in the rich text editor.
  4. Optionally, click the Generate template button to use a template for reference for refund, privacy and terms of service.
  5. Click Save.

For additional policies you may wish to display on your Popup Store, you can create your policy in the form of Content and link it directly to a menu. 

Add a policy to a menu 

Policies stored in the Preferences section of your Popup Store can also be linked to your menus.


  1. From your Popup admin, select a Popup Store.
  2. Click Menus.
  3. Click on a pre-made menu or select Create menu.
  4. Select Add menu item.
  5. Enter a link title and choose your selected policy from the drop-down menu.
  6. Click Add item.
  7. Click Save.

Add custom pages to display legal information

You can create a Content page to state your store policies and legal details and display them in menus and buttons.
