Password protection for your store

By default, a password page is activated to control who can access your online store. You can turn it on and off in the Password protection section under Popup Store preferences.

When turned on:

  • The password page needs a password to enter, which you can share with customers.
  • Search engines can only see this password page, not other pages like products.

When you're ready to launch your store and make sales, you can turn this page off.

Turn off your password page

Once your password page has been turned off, all Journeys under the Popup Store with active Entry Points will be accessible to visitors that have access to the Entry Point link.

  1. From your Popup admin, click on a Popup Store.
  2. Click Preferences > General.
  3. Scroll down to the Password protection section.
  4. Uncheck Turn on password page.
