Send Abandoned Cart Email

When a visitor leaves items in their cart without finishing the checkout process, you can automatically send them an email with a link to their cart. This email gives them a chance to complete the order.

Add an Abandoned Cart Email Action

Steps

  1. From the Popup admin, select a Popup Store.
  2. Click Edit Popup Store to access the Journey Builder.
  3. Click the Add (+) icon.
  4. Select Actions.
  5. Click on New Actions and select Add Actions
  6. Click Send abandoned cart email.
  7. Select from the options in the Send to field.
  8. Under Send after field, choose when to send the email. Either 1 hour, 6 hours, 12 hours, or 24 hours after the visitor abandons their cart.

Set an Abandoned Cart Email Action as inactive

Steps

  1. From the Popup admin, select a Popup Store.
  2. Click Edit Popup Store to access the Journey Builder.
  3. Select the Make HTTPS Request Action you wish to make inactive.
  4. On the left-hand side, click Send abandoned cart email.
  5. Click the 3 horizontal dots, then select Make inactive.

Delete an Abandoned Cart Email Action

Steps

  1. From the Popup admin, select a Popup Store.
  2. Click Edit Popup Store to access the Journey Builder.
  3. Select the Make HTTPS Request Action you wish to remove.
  4. On the left-hand side, click Send abandoned cart email.
  5. Click the 3 horizontal dots, then select Delete Action.
